Titans mission is to promote health, fitness, camaraderie, and happiness by bringing you to the most amazing places we can find and by creating unique challenges that most certainly will bring the kid back in you, and hopefully will inspire you to reach for greater, harder goals.
Technically YES. By definition, in an obstacle race, competitors are timed and held to a standard of performance (i.e., when a task cannot be completed, a penalty such as burpees are assigned), which we sometimes (almost always) do. However, TITANS can be whatever you want it to be.
If you’re asking this, you already know, so stop looking for excuses and come witness for yourself.
No. You must register online.
Nah not dangerous, maybe tough, intense, challenging, awesome, etc; however, not only safety is paramount for us, but we want you to get out of our course in one piece and that you live to tell your grandchildren all about it someday.
If weather conditions make the course unsafe, or affect our medical and safety teams’ ability to help participants, cancellation might be an option.
In addition to participation in the event, an official Titans t-shirt is included (Only PLUS registration), a medal to seal the victory of your successful race completion, a time chip, refreshments during and after you finish the course (i.e., beer is optional).
Yes. When you arrive on registration day, you must sign a waiver in which you acknowledge (among other things) that by participating in TITANS Race you expose yourself to certain risks, including the risk of personal injury. For legal reasons, we suggest that you read and understand the waiver.
Yes. You MUST be at least 16 years old on event day to participate in TITANS for legal and insurance reasons.
You should have a baseline level of fitness that will allow you to participate safely and not be an undue burden to your fellow participants. Our event’s code of honor includes helping each other to the best of your abilities prior to moving on to another obstacle.
It is impossible for us to assess each injury on a case by case basis and therefore do not offer refunds when participants are injured and cannot participate after the refund deadline.
It varies depending the challenge but it usually ranges between 15 and 25.
Yes. We’ll have strategically located oasis throughout the course to help you with your hydration needs.
Safety is paramount to us, thus we’ve had and will always have medical personnel on site to help you with your needs god forbid.
All participants will select a 1 hour start time window when purchasing a registration for the event. This is your start time window during which you’ll head out onto the course. Heats will be sent off every 10 minutes and will be first come first serve for registrants in each window.
Heats will be sent off every 10 minutes and will be first come first serve for registrants in each window. Example: If you signed up for the 9:00-10:00am window, you’ll head to the starting zone at the event any time within that window.
A start wave will be released at 9:00am, but if either capacity at 9:00am is reached, or you aren't at the starting zone at 9:00am, another wave will be released at 9:10am, 9:20am, and 9:30am, 9:40am, 9:50am
All ELITE Registrations start in the first window from 8:00am to 8:30am
To ensure that everyone on your team can run together, each participant must be registered for the same 1 hour start time window; and team members should enter the starting zone at the event together to start at the same time.
Any team members who are not booked within the same start time window as the rest of the team will not be able to start at the same time as the rest of the team. In this case, participants can transfer to the start time of the rest of the team, pending availability.
To guarantee that you receive the same start time window as your teammates, one person from your team can register the entire group for the same start time window during a single checkout as long as there is enough availability in that start time window for the entirety of the group.
For example, you can register a team of 6 participants at the same time, however if there is only availability for 5 more participants in a start time window, you will need to select a new start time window for your group that has enough availability.
Arrive at least 30 minutes prior to their assigned start time window and no later than 15 minutes after their window opens. If you want to run with your team, you must all enter the starting zone at the same time. If you miss your start time window, you’ll remain on standby for the next available.
