What is Titans Mission?
Titans mission is to promote health, fitness, camaraderie, and happiness by bringing you to the most amazing places we can find and by creating unique challenges that most certainly will bring the kid back in you, and hopefully will inspire you to reach for greater, harder goals.
What is different about titans?
If you’re asking this, you already know, so stop looking for excuses and come witness for yourself.
Is TITANS a race?
Technically YES. By definition, in an obstacle race, competitors are timed and held to a standard of performance (i.e., when a task cannot be completed, a penalty such as burpees are assigned), which we sometimes (almost always) do. However, TITANS can be whatever you want it to be. You are the master of your own experience.
Where do I collect my event pack?
Registration will take place on location the day of the event. There will be signs directing all participants to the pick-up point. Each participant must collect his/her packet in person in order to sign a physical waiver.
Can I skip an obstacle?
You can skip any obstacle that you do not feel comfortable but know your “burpees” as they will probably be your penalty.
What if I get sick or injured?
Safety is paramount to us, thus we’ve had and will always have medical personnel on site to help you with your needs god forbid.
Are there any showers to get clean after the event?
Yes we are going to be providing showers…you’ll definitely need those!
How many obstacles?
Depending on the event that number can range between 15 to 25.
What should I bring?
Normal running shoes – NO CLEATS! They’ll be worse on your feet and are dangerous for the other participants. Clothes – lightweight stuff that dries quickly; heavy or thick clothing will just retain water…AND (VERY IMPORTANT) a change of clothes for after the event. Gloves –Some people swear by them, others prefer to go glove-less (faster drying). If you go with gloves, be sure to grab tough, thick ones to prevent burns from the ropes and splinters from the walls. Photo ID – You MUST bring a photo ID and copy of your confirmation email.
Are there water stations or water/snacks available?
Yes. We’ll have strategically located oasis throughout the course to help you with your hydration needs.
